This blog was created to offer information on the upcoming benefit in support of John and Carla, as well as to provide a place for friends and relatives to volunteer to help with the benefit or donate items for the silent auction. Thank you for a beautiful, healing, successful evening of support!

Carla and John were so touched and overwhelmed by the turn out for the benefit. The tone of the evening was truly celebratory. Your amazing efforts yielded a most unexpected generosity. The event raised about $38,000! Please know that each of you--volunteers, auction donors, speakers, food makers, and the countless supporters of the evening have a special place in our hearts. You have made all seem possible, even in the most difficult of times. We continue to draw encouragement and hope from your support. Love, blessings, and healing to you all.
